Invoice not automatically matched to a transaction - what to do?

GetMyInvoices automatically suggests matching invoices for your bank transactions. Sometimes a transaction is still left without a suggestion - in most cases, you can then match it manually in a few steps.

Matching manually

  1. In the Banking area, click the affected transaction or the red exclamation mark.
  2. A search window opens. Use the filters to search specifically for the matching invoice.
  3. Match the invoice you found to the transaction.

Good to know: By default, only invoices that aren't yet matched to a transaction are shown here. If you've already matched an invoice to a different transaction, remove the corresponding checkmark in the search window to find it anyway.

The search field also offers full-text search, so you can search using keywords from the invoice as well.

If the paid amount differs due to a cash discount

If you paid an invoice after deducting a cash discount, the transaction amount differs from the invoice amount. In this case, the matching invoice may not be suggested automatically and may not appear in the standard results list either, even if the invoice number and recipient match.

In this case, use the full-text search with the invoice number from your transfer's payment reference - this reliably finds the invoice so you can match it manually.
